COS Migrations (de-de)

Last updated: April 10, 2025

How can I migrate now?

Within your dashboard, click on the Account Menu (top, right-hand corner of your main navigation, next to your domain name and Hub ID) > Settings > Updates > Learn more about the COS. From there, you can decide who you want to conduct your migration (we recommend "Have HubSpot do it for me.")

What subscription levels can have access to the COS?

All subscription levels are eligible for the COS.

When I get the COS, will HubSpot set up my template?

Once you submit your reference blog and landing page URLs, we'll enter your request into the queue with all our other customers requesting their pages to be rebuilt. When it's your turn, we will move all your blog posts and landing pages from our old system to the new COS system and build out a template styled like your existing website.

Is there a cost associated with migrating to the COS?

HubSpot will rebuild your CMS landing pages and blog at no additional cost.

Can I have a designer migrate me instead of HubSpot?

If you have a designer on your team, are working with a partner or are a designer yourself, you can take our COS Designer Certification to learn how to implement your designs on the COS and rebuild your website yourself.

However, if you are not strong with HTML and CSS and do not have a developer on staff to rebuild your pages on the COS, we recommend you have HubSpot migrate your pages at no cost.

How many subdomains can I host on the COS?

The COS hosts four different content types: Blog, Landing Pages, Email Web Preview Pages and Site Pages. All customers will be able to host all of those content types on one domain.

If you are a Basic or Professional customer and would like to publish content onto additional sub-domains, you will need to speak to your Account Manager to purchase a Sites add-on that will allow you to do so.

Can I keep my site on the CMS?

Migrating your website to the COS will ensure you have all of the latest features and options available on the HubSpot platform. We encourage you to update as soon as possible, as we are in the process of deprecating this
platform. Talk to your customer success manager or check out the Update Center to get started with a migration today. To get to the Update Center, go to the Account Menu > Settings > Updates > Learn more about the new Content Optimization System.
